Why is evolution a theory and not a law?

Evolution is a theory and not a law because it is not yet been proven. A law is something that is already been proven with an explanation and is unlikely to be changed in the future. The research is mostly likely a hundred percent true. A theory is a something that is being explain from an observation and is possible to changed in the future. The research is not a hundred percent true. Evolution is a theory because it is an explanation of what is observed but not a hundred percent true. An evolution can not be tested because there is not enough information for it.

  1. Or evolution is a scientific theory because it can not be expressed by a mathematical equation. Which is really the answer. Scientific law is no better or worse than a scientific theory. Both are subject to change if enough evidence is produced. A scientific theory is not like a theory you state when you have an idea about something, it must be tested, and tested, and tested. In fact it HAS been tested, many times in many different places all over the planet. Experiments are done with flies, birds, dogs, cats, pigs, horses... just about anything that breeds. By putting pressures on these animals we can see how natural selection works, as it does every time. We can also observe it in nature with the birds of paradise as well as other less famous birds. Rodents are excellent to study due to their fast breeding.
